Paul + Heather | Calgary Wedding Photographer

A couple of years ago I was practicing some music with Paul and Heather. My daughters were tagging along and at the end of the evening my oldest watched them pack their instruments into their car and drive away together.

"Mom?" she asked me with a thoughtful look in her eyes. "Do Paul and Heather live together?"

"Of course they do," I answered. "They're married!"

"Oh!" she replied with a shocked look on her 7 year old face. "Really? I thought they were just the very best of friends!"

I remember laughing and telling her that they were both.  Married and the very best of friends. Isn't that a beautiful idea? To be married to your very best friend? It was a privilege to spend an evening celebrating 10 years of marriage and a lifetime of best-friendship with these two. Here's to best friends who live together and dance in their kitchen and bands and babies and golden hours and laughter.
